About

My path into technology wasn't traditional. I spent seven years as a professional basketball player. When that chapter ended, I taught myself to build software, printing websites in college, matching them to the browser's inspect panel, rewriting markup until I understood how things worked.

Since then I've worked across engineering, product, mobile applications, AI, and government technology. I've launched more than 40 apps. I've helped public-sector teams move past App Store rejections that had stalled for months. I operate technology in a second-generation family business, practitioner work, not advisory-only consulting.

Today I founded Lissiland, where my team applies these ideas for organizations that need technology people actually use.

What I'm exploring

One question drives most of my work:

How can we design technology that people actually use?

That question sits at the intersection of behavioral science, product strategy, human-centered design, government technology, mobile experiences, AI, and simplicity.

What I believe

• Technology is the medium. Behavior is the outcome.
• Technology should adapt to people, not the other way around.
• Simplicity creates trust.
• Every feature must earn its place.
• Great products are designed around behavior, not requirements documents.
• Curiosity is a competitive advantage.
• Learning never stops.

What I do

I build, write, teach, speak, and research. I'm not interested in being a generic software engineer, an AI influencer, or a motivational speaker. This site is not a resume and not a project dump, it's where I think in public.
